MY SUPPOSED TO BE SECOND METEOR SHOWER EXPERIENCE

Labels: , , - Thursday, January 3, 2013

Astronomical DiaryJanuary 2013The annual Quadrantid meteor shower will be active from January 1 to January 7. The observation of its peak activity is on January 3-4 in which meteors or falling stars can be seen at the rate of at least 40 meteors per hour...

Upon seeing this astronomical update on PAG-ASA last January 1, 2013 I was thrilled to know that I will  see a meteor shower for the second time. Unfortunately, due to bad weather caused by Tropical Deppression "Auring" our night is very cloudy and I couldn't even see a single star glowing above the sky. But, I am hopeful that the next days would have a good weather. Can't wait to witness meteor shower!  ^_^

BEFORE AND AFTER PABLO STRIKES

(In memory of our favorite Bamboo Inland Resort)

Bamboo Inland Resort - is the nearest and the most visited resort in our place (of course). Almost all important events of our life, we celebrated in this place. If we have visitors from different places, we always tour them to Bamboo. Let them see the beautiful landscapes, huge and cold swimming pools, and clear and magnificent spring.

All of this were gone in just one strike of Super Typhoon "Pablo" or "Bopha". It didn't just erase bamboo resort in the map but it also wiped out the nice people living there. Here are some photos I've taken during my visit on the devastated place of New Bataan.

(Other people who also went to see how devastated the place is)

IRONMAN'S 3RD BIRTHDAY

Labels: , , , , , - Thursday, November 15, 2012

Tomorrow will be my one and only nephew's 3rd birthday. I was assigned to layout his huge tarpaulin with a Lightning Mcqueen theme. I know I am not that good graphic artist that's why I asked the help of my pro graphic artist friend. Unfortunately, he is kinda busy at the moment. So, I really need to layout it on my own. T'was a very challenging task because I know my brother and sister-in-law would expect a wonderful tarpaulin layout. Since I cannot create a layout from scratch, I used the so called "google.com" thing :) to look for an existing layout and plan to just copy the layout. Luckily, I found a bunch of mcqueen layouts and have chosen a good one to edit. I just used the cropping and cloning tools of Corel Draw to make the necessary changes and voila!

Anyone who are interested to use corel draw can buy it on Amazon.com.

Happy 50th Monthsary!!!

Labels: , , , - Tuesday, May 8, 2012

OMG! I never thought we could reach this far. Despite the quarrels and misunderstandings we've had these past 50 months we still remain together. It feels so good that someone is there to care for you, to support you on your plans and dreams in life, to hold on to you in times when you are down. I really really thank the Lord for giving him to me.

It's my first time to write a blog about our monthsary. Only at this very moment I counted how many months we are already and I was shocked to know that we've already reached our golden monthsary! That's why I was not contented on just posting one comment on his wall and I decided to search for a monthsary quote as an additional to my previous post on his FB account. As I googled about monthsary message, I bumped into Lover's Delight wordpress site. What I liked the most among the monthsary messages they posted is this:

I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.

- Elizabeth Barrett Browning

As I browsed on their other posts I was surprised to found out that we celebrate the same monthsary! It was really a coincidence! So instead of posting again to his wall, I decided to create a blog about our special day! May the owner of the Lover's Delight site had a wonderful and happy monthsary today as much as we do. Cheers~! Be happy! :)

TO MY ONE AND ONLY CLYD D. FERNANDEZ, HAPPY 50TH MONTHSARY TO US! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR LIFE WITH ME. YEY! ^_^

Exotic Food?

Labels: , , - Thursday, April 5, 2012

Balat - that's how we call eel in our place. I consider it as an exotic food because actually it's my first time to see it in our dining table. I was really curious of how it taste but don't really have the guts to take one bite. If you were me, would you taste it? :)

My Terrier Tammy

Today, I went home early to finish a bunch of task from my online work. My sister and I kept on texting about the newly bought cellphone for our Tatay when she said she wanted us to chat on YM. I said that's a good idea since she haven't seen my new puppy TAMMY(my new terrier puppy). We chatted and used webcam and here's our photo. :)

Much more photos of my cute Tammy on my next blogs.. 'Til next time.. ^_^

Nutrition Month Tarpaulin (Breastfeeding)

Labels: , , , - Friday, July 1, 2011

I'm not an artist but I am trying my best to be like one. I know my work is nothing compared to professional graphic artist, but I'm already happy with my work. :)

This layout is for Compostela Central Elementary School's Nutrition Month Celebration. At first I hesitate on making this tarpaulin layout because I don't have enough confidence on my artistic ability. Thanks to Teacher Arlene Intrepido for her insisting, I was obliged to do this. :D

Accomplishments...

Labels: , - Wednesday, June 15, 2011

I am not bragging. I'm just proud to say that I've accomplished my goals and will continue accomplishing the rest of it. It just feels so fulfilling that the things you've been wanting before is already yours.

My Lenovo Netbook. Just bought it last March 5, 2011. This has been my super duper ultimate goal before. I don't know why, but I really really want to own a laptop or at least a netbook. And now, I've already have one. Who would have thought that what I've said last January this year "I will have a laptop within this year" is already fulfilled? Indeed, God is really good to me. ^_^

Our newly bought LCD monitor. (2 months old)

Even before, I really wanted to have an LCD monitor but can't afford to buy one. Good thing the computers and gadgets prices is abruptly decreasing. We bought this from my classmate for only P3,500. Sooo happy to have this because it's also one of our ultimate goal.. :)

PSP (just the brown one - the black PSP is owned by our customer..hehehe)

This PSP was bought from my classmate too for only 8,200 since it's second hand and we paid it in "two-gives". Though not a brand new item, it still looks good and works good. I bought it because my LOVE really loves to play PSP. I feel bad when I see him asking to borrow other peoples PSP. So, I decided to buy it for him. I didn't regret buying this because he constantly use it. Meaning the money we used in buying it is not wasted at all. :)

See? I'm not bragging it. I just wanted to share to you all the joy of fulfilling your goals. I hope you accomplished your goals too. 'Til next time! ^_^
