Whirlwind

Vacation is officially over and even if I wan't to I can't turn back the time and extend the vacation. I wan't more time together with my family, I wan't more time to relax, unwind and enjoy the holidays. Sad, but we need to face the reality. We need to work for a better and fruitful year. So, I went to school and feed my students with knowledge they need to reach their dreams. 😊

It's my 2nd newphew's upcoming birthday and I wanted to help in preparing his birthday so I made a tarpaulin layout and cupcake tags for him. My sister-in-law wanted a king/prince theme so here's what it turned out. :)

I know you courted me for a very short time and accepted your love without knowing you that much. We have so many differences (esp. I eat pork and you don't..hahaha!, you love chocolate flavored ice cream but I love cheese flavors, you love junk foods but I hate it), we even argue sometimes but no matter what it takes I learned to love you so deep. Hope you won't change the way you are (pero sana magpapayat kana,hehehe!)

(In memory of our favorite Bamboo Inland Resort)

Bamboo Inland Resort - is the nearest and the most visited resort in our place (of course). Almost all important events of our life, we celebrated in this place. If we have visitors from different places, we always tour them to Bamboo. Let them see the beautiful landscapes, huge and cold swimming pools, and clear and magnificent spring.

All of this were gone in just one strike of Super Typhoon "Pablo" or "Bopha". It didn't just erase bamboo resort in the map but it also wiped out the nice people living there. Here are some photos I've taken during my visit on the devastated place of New Bataan.

Tomorrow will be my one and only nephew's 3rd birthday. I was assigned to layout his huge tarpaulin with a Lightning Mcqueen theme. I know I am not that good graphic artist that's why I asked the help of my pro graphic artist friend. Unfortunately, he is kinda busy at the moment. So, I really need to layout it on my own. T'was a very challenging task because I know my brother and sister-in-law would expect a wonderful tarpaulin layout. Since I cannot create a layout from scratch, I used the so called "google.com" thing :) to look for an existing layout and plan to just copy the layout. Luckily, I found a bunch of mcqueen layouts and have chosen a good one to edit. I just used the cropping and cloning tools of Corel Draw to make the necessary changes and voila!

As I browsed on their other posts I was surprised to found out that we celebrate the same monthsary! It was really a coincidence! So instead of posting again to his wall, I decided to create a blog about our special day! May the owner of the Lover's Delight site had a wonderful and happy monthsary today as much as we do. Balat - that's how we call eel in our place. I consider it as an exotic food because actually it's my first time to see it in our dining table. I was really curious of how it taste but don't really have the guts to take one bite. If you were me, would you taste it? :)

Today, I went home early to finish a bunch of task from my online work. My sister and I kept on texting about the newly bought cellphone for our Tatay when she said she wanted us to chat on YM. I said that's a good idea since she haven't seen my new puppy TAMMY(my new terrier puppy). We chatted and used webcam and here's our photo. :)
