Enchanted River Escapade

October 18 - (6:20 AM)

Clyd and I travel from Compostela to Trento where my friend Agnes and Jeffrey were waiting. It was just a quick plan when we met at Davao few days ago that after Jeffrey's birthday (October 17, 2009) we will go to the so called Enchanted River at Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. I was really intrigued just from hearing its name.

We arrived at Trento at exactly 7:00 AM. Clyd's motor speed is quite fast that I haven't noticed we just take Compostela to Trento for only 30 minutes. Oh well, that's really what I wanted, to come early to our destination. After we arrived at Jeffrey's house, we ate breakfast and then get ready for our long and tiring travel. 'Coz they said the way to our destination is a bunch of rough roads. Ouch!

Here are some of our photos:

Before we leave. Say Cheese!

We stopped at Agusan and visit our dear friend Polding and his wife. Picture2x again.

Love the view, so we stopped for a while and take pictures.^_^

At the entrance of Enchanted River, 12km to the destination.

At last, we arrive at around 11:30 AM. ^_^

Swimming time!

Before we leave Enchanted River. With a kid joiner! ^_^

Visit Enchanted River, Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur and get the chance to see the beautiful gift of mother nature.

Dota addict before, what are now? (A Tribute)

Two years have passed since we graduated from college. But I could still remember those silly times when we absent, cut classes and even throw bag on the window and ask the teacher to be excuse for a while to go to the bathroom, but the truth, will not come back and ran out of the class just to play DOTA. So crazy isn't it?

That's my life since I met my friends in college (Agnes, Phil, Jepox, Ricrock and Polding) and learned to play Dota Warcraft. All of us were so hooked with this game that we waste our money just to play with it 'til morning.

Many times we've tried to resist the temptation and promise not to play again. I even remember it as one of my new years resolution. Hahaha! But I always failed because of my friends who treat me for cafe rental when I'm out of budget. Who could refuse it? It's free. Hehehe!

Some says, "the most enjoyable part of our life is definitely in high school days", but I would say it's - COLLEGE DAYS! Thanks, to my dotadiks friends…

Have you ever wondered how are these dotadiks doing right now? Do they land a good job, even if they frequently absent and cut classes before? Oh well, here’s a sneak peek of what they are right now.

AGNES – currently working at Hubport Interactive as a Linkbuilder/SEO. Happy with her almost weekly escapades to different places. Pretty cool hobby right?

RICROCK – presently works as a Graphic Artist at NCCC. He is one of the designers of the buntings, big tarpaulins and billboards of NCCC. So good on his field of work.

PHIL – a successful Accounting Clerk at Coca Cola Bottlers Inc. Don’t ask me why he is under Accounting Department were infact he’s a ComSci graduate. Well, in the real world you shouldn’t be picky for your job as long as it’s good and descent then you go for it.

JEPOX – a freelance website developer/designer. Enjoys being with his new found love “Poning” – a Fury 125 motorcycle. Hehehe!

POLDING – Yes! Our ever dearest friend Polding who just got married last June 20. We’re so proud of him ‘coz he is now a professional IT instructor at ACSAT Bunawan, Agusan del Sur. Wooh! Clap! Clap!

So there they are. Quiet successful right? Despite the silly things we’ve done back in our college days.

Oops! Wait! How about me? What am I today? Oh well, currently I’m happily working at home as a freelance linkbuilder/virtual assistant. And to step out from the normal flow of life (always sitting in front of my computer, working, browsing the internet, facebook etc.), I did not forget to unwind and relax for a while. ^_^

There you go! That’s all we are today. Struggling to be a better person but enjoying life to the fullest! =)

Newly Assembled PC

Sept. 27, 2009 - At last, the second PC we are trying to assemble is now complete! Weeeeh! Remember my first bought PC (2nd hand from Davaosale)? Now have it's new assembled companion. Hehehe! And here they are now. ^_^

(Sorry for the messy wirings..hehehe!)
(Left: 2nd hand PC Right: Newly assembled PC )

(While assembling the PC)

Of course, we would truly love and take care of them 'coz they are the one helping us for our bread and butter. So for those who wanted to assemble their personal computer, you don't need to directly jump into high specs computer if your budget can't really afford it. You can start from average specs of computers and just upgrade it later on. ^_^

Nanay's 50th Birthday

September 20, 2009

Nanay is very busy opening her gift. Her birthday tarpauline @ her back - MY SURPRISE/GIFT

So happy with her birthday GIFTS.^_^

Nanay is too busy preparing her very first successfully made Chiffon cake! Why first? Actually, since I was a kid she is really that desperate to make a chiffon cake, but many times she failed. According to her, that's the greatest gift she ever receive coz at last she do it correctly. I'm happy too coz we could eat a real chiffon cake. Hahaha!

That big day, is very busy, many of Nanay and Tatay's co-teacher went to our house. Showing some love and birthday greetings to Nanay. Though it's tiring at the end of the day, but I can see in my Nanay's face that she's very happy, I'm happy too. ^_^

MY LOVE TOHRAM (Korean Movie - True Story)

I made this blog because i wanted to share this to all of you. This is about a Korean Movie I've watched three times already, but surprisingly i still cry and shred many tears everytime I watched the movie. The title of the movie is "My Love Tohram", it is a movie about a happy family living in a house in the middle of an orange farm.

One day, a puppy named Tohram was brought to their house for them to adopt it for a couple of months before it will turn into a certified guide dog for blind people. Since the puppy feels very alone, he is very quite inside his little bed made for him while everyone in the house is watching over him. The mother pity the poor little dog and carry him with her hand. Luckily, the puppy recognized that it would be her new mother, he licked and licked the face of his new found mother as if he is kissing her for gladness. Tohram was very close to her new found mother that her mother thinks that he is one of her child.

When the elder son's birthday came, an accident happened to the mother while the two visitors were playing around and suddenly bumps into the boiling chemical/fertilizer for the oranges. Unfortunately, the chemicals pour into their mothers eye and she got blind.T_T Their mother was so restless, she became very aloof to people and doesn't even wanted any people to see him, not even her family, not even Tohram. One day, she decided to go to Seoul to search for herself. She wanted to be independent though she is blind. Her family beg to stop her, but during that time she is really decided and no one could stop her from leaving. Since the family got a big problem, Tohram was taken for granted that's why he was brought back to the center of Guide dog's where he really came from.

It was very difficult for the mother to live alone in Seoul with her condition, but she is very determined to study and stand on her own without depending to other people. One fine day, as she is walking in the streets, a dog bumps into her and licked into her face. Despite her blindness, she still recognize that it was her Baby Tohram. Together with Tohram is their friend, a personnel from the center of guide dogs.

Anyways, to make the story short, Tohram became his mother's guide dog until her mother graduated to special education and became a professor. Sadly, Tohram got a spleen cancer and died.

I'm sorry if it is really not in detail, i wanted it for you to find out and watch the movie for yourself. i assure you, two thumbs up! The most wonderful movie i've ever seen. So for those dog lovers out there, i suggest you watch this movie. It's Great!^_^

My Level Up Escapades I cannot Forget..^_^

Being a part of Levelup Company is very memorable for me. I learned many things, met many friends and gone to many place I haven't been before. Sad i wasn't able to get pics to all places I've been. But here are the few I only have:

PAGADIAN CITY
(6 hours from Zamboanga City)

The very unique pedicab I've ever seen. =)

At my back is the road down to the city proper of Pagadian. The coolest place I've ever been. We've strolled over the place and I was very impressed because even narrow streets we're still cemented. (Their government is not really corrupt, I think. Hehehe)

Pagadian's Market. Fishes are so cheap that I want to buy all..hahaha! This is the place where I found out that my favorite seaweed(GUSO) are just dried and made slippers???? Cool!

ZAMBOANGA CITY

Forty minutes (plane travel) from Davao.
Zamboanga's a place of Muslims. At first I was really scared because it was my first time to be in a place we're most of the people I encounter in the streets are Muslims wearing their usual Muslim costumes. What even scares me is in every corner of the streets there are soldiers/army watching over. (In my mind, there should be really bombers anywhere). But my Co-employee who stayed there for a long time assures us that it's safe. People in Zamboanga are speaking in Chabakano. (is the spelling correct). And God, I really don't understand, so I'm obligued to speak tagalog and they are too. hehehe.

Zamboanga's Airport

Streets of Zamboanga

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY

Eight hours (bus travel) from Davao City.
I cannot forget this place because this is the longest trip I've ever had in all my trip in Levelup. And it really bores me that I couldn't help but miss the people I've left behind and wanted to go home. But if I arrive @ Cagayan I'm not disappointed because Cagayan is really a lively place. I love DIVISORIA so much. And my most awaited day there is Friday because it's NIGHT CAFE!!!Yahoo! I love eating street foods there and most of all I love UKAY-UKAY 'coz it's very cheap! hehehe!

Me @ Divisoria, CDO

Me @ Carmen, CDO - Infront of Liceo de Cagayan

KIDAPAWAN CITY

Two hours (van travel) from Davao.
I love this place. It's so relaxing here. Sad, haven't gone to Agco river, the famous resort there. But, I'll go there one of this days..^_^

@ Kidapawan Van Terminal - We're going to Cagayan! ^_^

I hope I could find more of my travel pictures so that I could post it too. But I need more time to look for it. *Sigh*
Anyway, that's all for now. ^_^
